PhotoPOSTcard: One is the Loneliest Number

Reflection in the Tualatin Valley, Oregon

Last Updated on 10/16/20 by Rose Palmer

As a photographer, I am always attracted by reflections, especially ones with amazing clouds.

There is just something about a perfect mirror-like symmetry that appeals to me (I imagine Rorschach has something to say about that). As I drove by this reservoir in the Tualatin Valley of Oregon, near Hillsboro, the lone, large pine tree surrounded by red clover in the otherwise flat farmland caught my eye. The weather was perfect for a reflection photo, with big, fluffy cotton clouds in a deep blue sky.

What does this Rorschach image of the clouds look like to you?

Please note that my visit to the Tualatin Valley Quilt Barn Trail was sponsored by the Washington County Visitor’s Association. All content and opinions are my own.

Thanks for visiting.
