Once again, IFWTWA has honored me with five awards in their 2023 photography contest.
My portrait of a king penguin in the Falkland islands took third place in the Nature category, behind two incredible photos by my friend Michael Hodgoson.
In the Wine and Spirits category, my photo of a glass of red wine being poured aboard the La Bella Vita barge also took third place.
I had a hat trick in the Urban Landscapes category, winning a gold, silver, and bronze for all three photos that I submitted. I took all three photos during a recent cruise in Norway.
The first place photo was actually a cell phone photo I took in the early morning as I was walking around the town of Trondheim, Norway.
The silver award was given to my photo of kayakers in the town of Aalesund, Norway.
The third place photo was taken in a Norwegian fishing village above the Arctic Circle.
It’s always an honor to have my photography skill rewarded.
Thanks for visiting.
