All wedding anniversaries are special, but those ending in a “0” are doubly so. So, when my husband and I were looking for an extraordinary way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, another luxury barge cruise with European Waterways quickly came to mind.
After three other cruises with European Waterways in France and Italy, we knew there was no more indulgent way to celebrate this memorable event. For a week, we would be wined and dined like royalty. And since we were doing a barge cruise on the River Thames in England, the royal treatment was quite appropriate.

There is no doubt that Alaska is a beautiful state. With glacier-studded mountain ranges, rugged coastlines, wildlife galore, and ancient native cultural traditions, it’s no surprise that it is a bucket list destination for many. Cruising southeast Alaska is an easy and (relatively) budget-friendly way to see one of the most scenic parts of this huge state.

A Baltic cruise was an easy way to see this part of Northern Europe. I am sharing my Baltic cruise excursions as I independently explored each port stop.
I cruise for many reasons: to get some me time, to get pampered, and to enjoy unending views of the ocean are just a few of them. I also cruise to experience new destinations, which was why I chose this particular Baltic cruise itinerary. I have long wanted to visit the Scandinavian countries and the Balkans, and this cruise made that wish come true.

In this extensive Majestic Princess review, I share my expereinces onboard after cruising twice on long repositioning cruises. I also share a lot of photos of one of my favorite Princess ships.
I’ve sailed on the Majestic Princes on two long repositioning cruises and have loved my experiences each time. The first time was a transpacific from Los Angeles to Auckland, and the second, most recent cruise, was a transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona.
The Majestic Princess has become one of my favorite Princess ships, and now, after its recent drydock renovations, it’s even better.

I love sea days, which is why my cruises on the Majestic Princess were some of my most memorable.
I sailed on the Majestic Princess on a 21 day transpacific cruise from Los Angeles to Auckland, New Zealand and also on a 14 day transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona. These were both wonderful cruises with lots of lazy sea days and plenty of time to just relax. For me, the Majestic was the prefect ship for such a long, laid back trip.
