As time permits, I am continuing to work on my quilt block of the month project. It is never as much time as I would like and the progress is slow. I am excited to be halfway through the project and I am happy at how the blocks are turning out.
I am slowly continuing my investigations into half square triangle (HST) geometries with this block of the month project, especially all the options possible with a 4 patch HST unit.
Sharing block 6 of my personal quilt block of the month project.
I am continuing with my block of the month project as time allows. My sewing space continues to be in flux as we continue to work through our renovations, but I try to fit in time to quilt when I can so here now is block 6. I am halfway through this project and am excited to see it slowly coming together.
I am continuing with my quilt block of the month project that I started in May. It is amazing how quickly this month has gone by and now it is time to share block 2 of my half square triangle explorations.
With so much time on my hands, I have decided that each month I am going to challenge my creative grey cells and start my own personal quilt block of the month design. I have been fascinated by half-square triangle quilt patterns for a long time – the number of possible geometries seems infinite. Join me for the next 12 months as I play with half square triangles and figure out which pattern I will make each month. At the end, I will put all the blocks together into a whole new quilt design (or maybe two or three).
